Which is why we made a recent update to one of the most detailed dictionaries on Bible Gateway Plus.
We wanted the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology to be far more accessible for those who don’t have biblical Greek language training. Or even for those who do!
What you used to see when you opened this resource in the Bible Gateway Plus sidebar were only the original Greek word and it’s corresponding Goodrick-Kohlenberger number, making it difficult to find the entry you were looking for:
The new version adds to each entry title the transliterated word and the English word or words that the entry covers:
You can now use the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology the same way you’re able to use any other resource on Bible Gateway Plus. Simply read Scripture, click or tap on this dictionary’s sidebar tab when you want to learn more about a specific word in the Bible passage, and discover the wealth of information that the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology holds!
