While we may take water for granted, no being can live without it. God created this miracle element for us to survive and bring us refreshment. It exists on Earth as vapor (gas) in the atmosphere, as liquid in rivers, streams, and oceans, and as solid in ice. It produces food, offers nourishment, provides cleansing, generates power, supplies recreation, and more. The Bible uses water as an invigorating symbol of God’s justice, salvation, purity, and loving care.
